Dr. Susan Timoney is an Associate Professor of Practice in Pastoral Studies and the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies in the School of Theology and Religious Studies at The Catholic University of America. Previous to joining the faculty at CUA, she served for 10 years as the Assistant Secretary for Pastoral Ministry and the Secretary for Pastoral Ministry at the Archdiocese of Washington. She was the first woman appointed to the position of Secretary. Susan has more than 30 years experience in Church leadership and speaks nationally and internationally on topics related to Catholic spirituality, lay leadership and evangelization. Susan is a proud graduate of Catholic grade school, high school and graduate schools in the U.S. and in Rome. Susan is married and lives with her husband on Capitol Hill.
