Easter Letter
April 16, 2022
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope that this letter finds you and your families healthy, safe, and well. Our scholars have walked the steps of Christ through our Lenten activities and now we can all rejoice with the Easter Proclamation, ”Be glad, let earth be glad, as glory floods her, ablaze with light from her eternal King,” Jesus is truly the light of the World. We see the darkness of war and the challenges of life today for the sick and vulnerable. We must continue to pray that the Blessing and Peace of Easter pour forth a fresh anointing on a desperate world and all who work tirelessly to heal it.
We have been blessed to receive many generous gifts this season and are absolutely grateful for the individuals and organizations that invest and believe in Annunciation Catholic School. Today, please remember our parish, donors and the work of CNAMB, the Catholic Negro American Mission Board in your prayers.
CNAMB- Catholic Negro American Missions Booard has been a supporter of Catholic schools since 1907. CNAMB has supported Catholic education and evangelization among African American in the United States. Annunciation Catholic School has become a recipient of over $35,000 to support operational expenses throughout the pandemic. We are grateful for the support CNAMB has provided for our scholars and faculty.
We also are grateful to the anonymous donor who has given us $12,000 to support playground upgrades. Our playground serves as a community space for many and this upgrade will allow scholars and parishioners to continue to make lasting memories of joy and play.
On behalf of the entire administrative team, faculty and staff, we would like to wish you a blessed, joyful, healthy and peaceful Easter season.
Constant Blessings,
Nicole Peltier Lewis
