ACS Financial Aid
Our ACS Financial Aid Applications are due by Thursday, March 31st and must include all supporting documents required for consideration. Please feel free to pick up a hard-copy from our office.
ACS Celebrates Almsgiving in honor of Lent
Our Community will be collecting all loose change from now until Wednesday, April 13th donating to Plenty To Eat DC to help combat food insecurity.
March Students of the Month
Scholars of the Month are being chosen for exemplifying characteristics of a Reflector. They thoughtfully consider the world, their own ideas, and their experiences. They are able to assess their strengths and weaknesses in order to support their learning and personal development. Recognition of our scholars will take place during Town Hall on Thursday, March 31st.
Our Read-A Thon is taking place now until March 28th hosted by our very own HSA!
Scholars are to read at least 30 minutes daily. ACS will have the opportunity to receive 50% of all funds fundraised. The top earning class will win a Pizza Party and every scholar with ten or more invited will earn an opportunity to win a trip to Disney Theme Park for a family of four.
HSA will also be hosting the following events March-April:
Stay tuned for our Virtual Paint Fellowship, Spring/International Festival (5/15), Our Field Day (5/28), and Outdoor Movie Night. If you have not fulfilled your yearly 20 volunteer hours, earn 2 hours for each of the following: Donate 20 or more N95 masks to the school, Donate 2 or more COVID test kits to the school, Donate 3 or more cases of water to the school, Volunteer for Upcoming Activities, Support Enrollment by distributing flyers, Assist with Teacher Appreciation Week in May, and join our Spring Festival Committee.
Yay Lunch orders are due every at midnight every Saturday for the following week.
Our ACS 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade community is taking a Leap with LEAP LLC. Logical Education and Athletic Progression in partnership with ACS is offering academic workshops to scholars until 3/28. In-Person scholars will meet on Saturdays 10:35a-11:35a. Virtual sessions open to both in person and Global Campus scholars will meet on Tuesdays 5p-6p.
Math Mania continues after school every Wednesday with Ms. Covert for our 6th & 7th grade scholars.
Students have the option to attend In-Person or via Google Meets “Join” link from 4p-5p for our 6th grade scholars and 5p-6p for our 7th grade scholars.
Jump on board with Heart Heroes!
Our goal is to establish physical and emotional heart-healthy habits daily! Scholars will dress down on Monday, March 28th for $5 each wearing their favorite college jersey donating to the American Heart Association, earn Heart Heroes, and have a chance to earn PE equipment for our school.
ACS Playground
ACS welcomes a new playground with reconstruction taking place over the summer in preparation for next school year 2022-2023! We absolutely honor the hands and hearts of the generous & anonymous donor! Please ensure that your scholar returns to school with complete uniforms as outlined on our website. Hoodies are not allowed. Also, hair color(s) must visually reflect our scholar’s natural/original tint.

School will close at 12:30p on Friday, March 25th & 4/1. Aftercare will still remain in place until 6p.
