Important Dates

First Day of School & Reminders: Our first day of school is on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 starting at 7:45AM. Scholars will be marked tardy after 8:00 AM. Please note that three tardies is equivalent to one absence.

All Financial Agreements MUST be signed through your online TADS account prior to your scholar’s start of school. Please contact our office manager Mrs. Kay Langenbacher at office@annunciationschool.net if there are any questions.

DC Health Forms: All DC Health Forms MUST be updated and submitted to our front office. Health forms are considered expired one year from the exam date. Please contact our office directly if you have any questions.

Scholar must arrive to school with complete uniforms as outlined on our website/within our Family Handbook

(We have allowed solid black sneakers this year).  Non- logo items are fine if Flynn and O’Hara cannot meet your needs. ACS hoodies are allowed only on Mondays and on your scholar’s PE day. Also, hair color(s) must visually reflect our scholar’s natural/original tint.

Information Packets will be distributed on Tuesday, August 26th. They will include Parent Checklist, Our ACS Handbook, Lunch Program Details, Health/Oral Forms, Kids Ride Free Metro Form, Remind (Text Communications), 24-25 Calendar, Technology Forms, Before & Aftercare Forms, and more… Please be sure to sign and return the required forms to our front office once received.

Before & Aftercare will begin on Tuesday, September 3rd. Your scholar(s) MUST be registered to attend. All non-registered scholars arriving before 7:45 AM (excluding PreK scholars) or remaining after 3:15 PM, TADS account will be assessed the appropriate fees.

After School Clubs will start the week of Monday, September 9th after school from 3:05-4:00 PM. A list of after school clubs and registration forms are forthcoming and will be distributed next week. All scholars not registered for aftercare must dismiss at 4 PM. The TADS account(s) of any/all scholar(s) remaining on campus after 4:15 PM will be assessed the appropriate fees.

ACS Lunch Program: Pizza and lunch forms will be made available in the information folders being sent home on Tuesday, August 27th. Please be sure to complete it and return it as soon as possible once received.

Our ACS Bake/Snack Sale will begin on Tuesday, September 3rd. Please allow your scholar(s) to bring in money for purchases. All purchases will be donated towards school activities.
